Default Attribute Question

Hi all
Could anyone give me some advice on my secondary Attribute level. I currently run a W/E with 6 attribut Air. Should I stick with that or put it to 9 so I can switch to a staff ar wand to get their bennefits when needed.
Any advice would be much appreciated

PvE? Looks like it, since it's Elite-less.

I see Bull's Charge there, LightningHell.

As for attribute, personally I run something like this:

Strength: 9 (8+1)
Swordsmanship: 16 (12+4)
Tactics: 11 (10+1)

I basicly see shock as a snare, you don't need to spec at all in air to use it. Not entirely bothered about the damage.

TY JR. The reason for my question was that I see I'm A Palidin from TE switch to a wand to kill NPC's or Master from Evil switchin to a staff. I do sometimes use Gale if tht makes any difference.

Again Ty for the responce!!!

They do not switch to wand/staff to kill anything, but to charge up adrenaline from range. You don't need to meet the requirements for a weapon to use it to build adrenaline.

TY Eleder, didn;t think of adrenaline. But you are mistaken on the killing part.
I'm A Palindin uses the wand to kill NPC's at opponents gate doors and around the Lord if he goes on a 2 man gank.

That would very much surprise me. It is standard practice to use a wand to build up adrenaline at range, so you can kill the targets faster when you have to get close up. This puts you in less danger of being fried by the Bodyguards.

In all fairness you could probably still wand them down.. it just takes a while longer.
As for attributes.. it all depends on a few things:
a) do you actually want some damage from shock? some people like the starter 50ish damage or whatever it is when they spike (or whatever)... some people dont need or want it
b) do you want to use gale? In which case you will need 5 air...
c) do you want a wand that does damage? At 6 air, you wont meet the req., but you still can take a wand to charge adrenaline at range, which as above is a good idea against npcs. However, for the extra thump, getting the attrib. for the damage (and energy) can work to your advantage.

Personally when running shock i use the same that JR runs above. The damage is pretty minimal.. id rather have a bigger heal sig or whatever.

9 Air is incredibly useful for the focus item. When exhaustion starts to kick in it becomes useful.

Actually if you are waiting for someone to bring your thief up, it's pretty common for everyone to whip out a wand/staff and kill the 2 archers by the door. This also has the added benefit of letting the warriors build up some adrenaline so they are ready to rock when the gate is opened.

Sorry, idiot me.

Without Gale now, I almost prefer to be W/N the rare occasions I play a Warrior.

Also, bring Sprint or Rush to cancel out Frenzy when needed. IMO I think Bull's Charge is a bit too *valuable* to use as a cancel stance.

He's probably going to use Bulls Charge as his cancel stance.

You should never get to that point.
